Blueberry Pear Ginger Crisp

I don't know why I could not go forward on the last post, but here is dessert.
You could use peaches, apples, mangoes and any berries available. I happened to have fresh ginger,but cinnamon and/or nutmeg are good too.

BLUEBERRY PEAR GINGER CRISP
2 ripe pears, 1 cup blueberries, 1tablespon lemon juice
1tablespoon flour or cornstatch, 2 or 3 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
1/2 inch piece ginger, grated
2 tablespoons orange juice - optional
Slice or cut pears, mix with berries and remaining ingredients. Place in baking dish.
Blend 1/3 cup flour, 1/3 cup oats, brown sugar and 2 tablespoons butter. Crumble over fruit. (I had some Swedish almond cookies I crushed and added).
Bake @ 375° for 30 minutes until bubbly and top is golden. Serve with whipped or ice cream.

I wish I had a photo or you could inhale the aroma..cinnamon, brown sugar,ginger, butter and baking fresh fruits...mmmsolagina...
